SP playwriting contest is postponed until after Spirit of Somerset Celebration....Date TBA Judges you will receive an email regarding this change in event and I hope you can still participate in this event.

We are looking for volunteers to walk Sunday, August 12th 2007 at the Fall River Celebrates America Parade. We need banner people and others to hand out coloring pages to the children on the parade RT. If you are interested please contact me as soon as possible. We will need to supply you with a Charlie Brown T-shirt.

SP is currently looking for a Christmas 2007 musical comedy to be performed in December if anyone has suggestions please email me with your ideas!

Somerset Players is looking for volunteers to participate in the Spirit of Somerset Celebration Friday & Saturday, September 7 & 8 2007. We are seeking individuals that would like to dress in 1800's costume and perform a historical skit during the Friday night candle lit walk and to participate as the same characters during the parade the following day. After the parade we are looking for volunteers to help sell cookies at our Cookie Mania fundraising booth. If you are interested in being a character or in volunteering at the fundraising booth please call or email me as soon as possible. I am currently making and repairing costumes for this event and need to know how many outfits are necessary. This is Somerset Players third year participating in this event and our fundraiser will directly fund our next performance. Times for each event will be emailed shortly. In the past the walk started at 7:00 PM and SP has arrived in costume at 6:15 PM. The parade kicked off at 10:00 AM the following day. This Year I am not sure if these times have changed due to new people running this event.

Sunday, August 19 at 2:00 PM.
Performances will be held at
St. Louis De France Bingo Hall

If anyone is interested please contact me via email or phone we are seeking 2 males with a Spanish or Portuguese accent and 6 women ages 21-40. This is a non-audition performance it is by special request for the schedule will be limited and most work will consist of memorization with your fellow characters and at home homework. Date TBA in November.
